• Serves 8. 

• Allergy Alert: Contains Wheat, Eggs, and Nuts

• Ingredients: 
• All Purpose Flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, and/or amylase, niacin (a B vitamin), iron, thiamin mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), folic acid (a B vitamin)
• Sugar, Walnuts, Orange Peel Powder
• Baking Powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate)

• Salt 

• Directions for Cake:
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees, F. Spray a 9-inch round pan, like this, with cooking spray. In a bowl, add the contents of the Orange Walnut Cake Mix and stir. Next, add the 2 eggs, 1/4 cup water, and 1/4 cup oil. Mix well. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick, when inserted, comes out clean. Remove to a rack to cool for 10 minutes. Invert cake on a platter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
• For a Mediterranean Taste: instead of the powdered sugar, make a simple syrup and pour over the cake!
• Simple Syrup Recipe: Bring 1/2 Cup Sugar and 1/2 Cup Water to a boil in a small pot. Reduce heat to a simmer for 15 minutes or until mixture thickens. Pour over cooled cake. Wait at least 5 minutes for cake to absorb syrup. Serve and Enjoy!
