What is the difference between Jelly and Jam? Jam is made from mashed fruit, while Jelly is made from strained fruit juice. Jellies will not contain any pieces of fruit. So, our Jams have chunky fruit with seeds while our Jellies are seedless and have a smooth texture. A third type is called preserves. Preserves will contain large pieces of fruit in each jar.

Sara's Kitchen began in 1987, in Lancaster County, PA, and the name was changed to Annie's Kitchen in 2006. Some fruits are harvested and processed the same day on the farm to preserve their freshness.

Good Black Raspberry Flavor, but spread a bit too easily

The jelly had a very authentic black raspberry taste and contained no seeds as advertised. I ordered 3 jars, but so far only opened one. The jelly flowed a bit too easily at room temperature and did even after refrigerated. Maybe it needs more pectin or less non-berry juice---it was still tasty.

BEST BLACK RASPBERRY JELLY EVER

We have tried several suppliers but far and away this is the best. The wife loves it. Its texture is less jelled than others, but taste is superb!

Black Raspberry jelly

I am very disappointed with my purchase of 2 jars of black Raspberry jelly. It is very thin & runny. Rolls tight off of toast or bread. The flavor is good. Needs more pectin to thicken it up.
