This type of wooden Stove Top Cover is designed after a Noodle Board. Years ago, Noodle Boards were used to roll out and cut dough into noodles. Today, this type of board is solely for covering over your stove top electric or gas burners. Our boards are Not to be used as cutting boards, though.
Each board has metal handles on each side to easily lift the board off the stove when cooking. The handles will also make it into a beautiful and functional serving tray. Instantly add extra counter space, which is always useful, in any size kitchen with a Stove Top Wooden Board.

Our boards are made from a solid piece of high grade spruce wood as the base. Then we add solid wood for placing handles on the sides. There are no slats that will separate over time as wood ages. The boards weigh only 8 pounds for easy lifting.

You have a choice of Distressed, which is white and then distressed in grey to give that aged or weathered look, or painted in one of the following Solid Colors: Aqua, Black, Navy, or Red. When you choose Black or Navy, the lettering will be in White.

The paint IS NOT Food Grade; therefore, the boards are NOT to be used as cutting boards or charcuterie boards.

Why is is called a noodle board?
We often get questions about the original use for Noodle Boards. It appears that these boards were designed for cutting noodles, similar to the way a cutting board is used. Nevertheless, our boards are often utilized for decoration and it is possible to cut on them, but we advise against it as it could potentially leave unsightly marks.
Noodle Boards are built to last and can tackle many jobs. Perfectly suited to be used as a cutting board, a display board, and as part of an attractive kitchen décor.
Are they safe to use?
Stove Top Covers must be utilized with caution to guarantee safety. Placing them over a burning or recently-used stove is prohibited, as wood is combustible and may ignite if exposed to heat. To prevent the risk of a fire, we strongly advise waiting 30-50 minutes before placing a wooden stove cover on a stove that has been turned off.
