Game Day Cheeseburger Dip
Impress your family and friends with all the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger at your college or pro football tailgates without the hassle of transporting a grill!
This cheeseburger dip gives you all the juicy, bacon-y goodness of a cheeseburger while dill relish, ketchup, and mustard make it a flavor explosion with ground beef, bacon, and cheese. It's like the ultimate burger experience with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on top! I'm making this dip a bit easier by using Halladay's Bacon Cheddar Smash Burger Blend instead of cooking bacon and adding to the mess!

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. Bacon Cheddar Smash Burger Blend Seasoning
- 3/4 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 6 oz. cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup finely chopped yellow onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup dill relish or finely chopped Dill Pickles
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. table salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- Toppings: shredded iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, and dill pickle chips
- Tortilla chips, potato chips, or bagel chips to serve
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.Lightly coat 1.5 qt. baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet, add yellow onion, red onion, and ground beef. Cook until onions are softened and beef is cooked through and crumbled.
- Drain the excess grease from the ground beef and onions, discarding drippings. Add beef mixture to a large mixing bowl.
- To the same bowl add in the Bacon Cheddar Burger Blend Seasoning, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and dill relish. Mix together until well-combined.
5. Add cream cheese, 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of Colby Jack cheese and mix until well combined. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup Colby Jack and 1/4 cup Cheddar cheeses over the top of the mixture.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or the center is hot and the edges are bubbly.*
8. Remove from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and dill pickle chips. Serve with sturdy chips like tortilla chips or bagel chips.
Notes
*To make cheeseburger dip ahead for a party, double or triple the recipe for a crowd, then assemble the dip through Step 6. Cover and place in the fridge for up to two days. Add an additional three to five minutes to baking time.
*This dip can also be made in the slow cooker. Follow up to Step 6, but transfer the ingredients to a slow cooker crock instead of a baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cook for four hours on low or two hours on high, checking and stirring after 1.5-hours.
