Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing

Quick and Easy 4th of July Red, White, and Blue Fruit Salad

Summer is almost here and so are Memorial Day, and the Fourth of July. Celebrate these Patriotic Holidays in style with this red, white, and blue fruit salad. The sweet and tangy glaze will have your guests asking for seconds. Make sure to share the recipe.

With only 5 simple ingredients, you only have to spend 5 minutes in the kitchen preparing this salad before the picnic. That means you have more time to celebrate and make memories with family and friends. It's especially convenient to make this dessert on a hot day. You don't need to turn on the oven..

  • 16 ounces Strawberries (washed and cut in half)
  • 1 pint Blueberries (rinsed)
  • 3 Bananas sliced in thick pieces
  • 1/8 cup Honey
  • Juice of 1 Lime

Fruit salad recipe

Prepare fruit as directed, then mix together in a festive bowl. Next, in a small bowl, whisk together the honey and freshly squeezed lime juice.

Drizzle the honey lime glaze over the fruit and stir slightly to coat. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Have some fun and serve in a star cookie cutter.

Summertime is the best time for fruit, especially berries. You can add red raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries, as well as watermelon and honeydew if you like. Throw in some mini marshmallows too, the kids will love it.

Thanks to Rada Cutlery and The Dutch Kettle and especially to Eating on a Dime for the recipe.
