What is the difference between Jelly and Jam? Jam is made from mashed fruit, while Jelly is made from strained fruit juice. Jellies will not contain any pieces of fruit. So, our Jams have chunky fruit with seeds while our Jellies are seedless and have a smooth texture. A third type is called preserves. Preserves will actually contain large pieces of fruit in each jar.
Sara's Kitchen began in 1987, in Lancaster County, PA, and the name was changed to Annie's Kitchen in 2006. Some fruits are harvested and processed the same day on the farm to preserve the freshness.
