Blue Ridge Berry Jams are all made from local, fresh grown, berries in the mountains of Western North Carolina.  Each Jam is made in small batches to maintain the delicious taste of the berries.

Our Blue Ridge Jams are shipped in a clear 10 ounce glass jar. Therefore, each jar is individually packaged to ensure safe delivery to you.

What is the difference between Jelly and Jam? Jam is made from mashed fruit, while Jelly is made from strained fruit juice. Jellies will not contain any pieces of fruit. So, our Jams have chunky fruit with seeds while our Jellies are seedless and have a smooth texture. A third type is called preserves. Preserves will actually contain large pieces of fruit in each jar.

It is located near Asheville, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Our family business began in 1961 as the Sugar Shack. We now operate under the name Blue Ridge Jams.

We specialize in jams, jellies, and preserves. We also carry a wide variety of gourmet jellies and jams, including fruit jellies with peppers, wine, brandy, and rum. 

We offer free shipping on orders over $50.00, for product categories that have the description "Free Shipping on orders over $50.00"

The $50.00 threshold does not include any items already included in free shipping regardless of the amount spent. Includes orders delivered in the USA but excludes Alaska and Hawaii.

For our products that say “In stock, ready to ship”, we will be shipping those items to you in 1-3 business days from the date you placed the order, sent to the address you have chosen.  The estimated delivery date is based the type of product you have ordered and time for the product to be shipped by the carrier.
