The "Hull" of a Concord Grape is, in other words, the skin of the grape. Inside the skin, or hull, is the pulp and seeds. When making concord grape hull preserves, the pulp is cooked down with water, cane sugar, and lemon juice (citric acid), then the seeds are strained out, and the hulls are added back in. 

Our Concord Grape Preservers are made from locally sourced, fresh grapes grown in the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina. Crafted in small batches, we ensure the delightful taste of the fruit is preserved in every jar. Preserves usually contain larger chunks or whole pieces of fruit, but our grape hull preserves have chopped up hulls for a more spreadable preserve.
